As we continue to scale we are looking for a Specialist, Workplace Experience to join our team and support our London office location and the Elastic community in the region, to ensure that we drive an even stronger workplace & employee experience - both virtual and in-office. 

This is an office-based role, Monday-Thursday out of our London location.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellence in local workplace services, experience & operations by supporting the front of house services..
  • Be the glue and main point of communication for local Slack and email communications.
  • Partner with HR functions, Internal Events and within the Workplaces team to deliver "Elastic experience" in ways that bring together the people experience elements between space / design, events, wellbeing and workplace services.
  • Own the relationship with building management, Security team and janitorial teams, ensuring all systems are functional and issues are dealt with efficiently.
  • Learn and understand about our flexible workplace services to support and foster high-growth productive environments that benefit all employees.
  • Maintain an active awareness and understanding of workplace experience trends and innovations that will be key to keeping our employee experience - virtual and in-office - fresh and relevant.

Experience & Qualities

  • 3+ years progressive experience in a hospitality, workplace / facilities role with a focus on employee experience and event execution.
  • Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels, influence behavior, and lead change.
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving, planning, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations, comfortable working in high growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective listener and communicator, able to influence actions and outcomes.
  • An ability to roll with the punches is definitely a plus, and sometimes a sense of humor is key!
