Endgame Systems, LLC provides software and services  to many customers in the U.S. Government, and the company’s success depends on our ability to provide compliant, effective and responsive security for our government contracts and programs. To support this mission, we are looking for a Facility Security Officer (FSO) who can establish and implement processes to ensure compliance with all National Industrial Security Program and similar requirements, manage the security aspects of government contract programs, and provide oversight and support for the day-to-day operations of the entity.

The parent company of Endgame Systems, LLC (Endgame, Inc.) concluded its sale to Elastic N.V., a Dutch company in 2019 (Read more here). Endgame Systems, LLC is a separate subsidiary of Elastic, and the FSO will be directly engaged to ensure that the entities successfully mitigate any risk of foreign ownership, control or influence (FOCI). Moreover, the FSO will play a critical role in initiatives to scale our approach to compliance, security and efficiency to meet the needs of a growing organization.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Day-to-day management of personnel and physical security programs for the entity;
  • Leading the process for tracking and reporting to the U.S. government on personnel, facility and insider threat matters;
  • Establishing and implementing policies and processes around IT management and compliance, personnel clearances, shared services with the Endgame Systems, LLC parent company, and similar matters;
  • Manage the company’s insider threat protection program and act as the company’s Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO);
  • Operating and optimizing complex clearance application and reinvestigation pipelines; 
  • Building and maintaining relationships with DCSA, DoD and prime contractor representatives;
  • Partnering with business leaders to facilitate important outcomes (e.g. shared service requirements,
    clearance-related questions, etc.) in the government space;
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the company, with a focus on information technology implementation, contract tracking, and guiding workplace operations management.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring along: Facility Security Officers at Endgame are resourceful individuals who understand important and complex government procedures, and are thoughtful and entrepreneurial in finding solutions to help the company deliver fast outcomes while maintaining rigorous compliance with customers' requirements.

  • Active U.S. Top Secret clearance
  • At least 5 years’ experience in government security
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an FSO capacity or relevant field experience, with experience in the mitigation of foreign ownership, control or influence (FOCI) and with experience in earlier-stage companies
  • Understanding of both IC and DoD clearance requirements and systems
  • Clear, concise and transparent communication style, with a strong and demonstrated ability to convey government regulations and compliance obligations to employees in plain English (and avoiding unnecessary industry jargon)
  • Experience in managing basic information technology software, systems, and networks
  • Demonstrated capability to think creatively and act proactively, and develop strategies and processes that maintain a strong security posture while enabling business outcomes
  • Experience in a startup environment a plus

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is between $89,000 and $122,400, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.

Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering.
