The Strategic Sourcing Manager leads global sourcing activities associated with defined spend categories, including supplier strategy development and coordination of activities to ensure cost requirements are met and value is delivered to the organization. With support from the Sr. Director, Strategic Sourcing, you'll be empowered to own and drive forward the business areas you cover. This also represents an opportunity to contribute to the foundation and growth of the sourcing and procurement process across Elastic worldwide.
This hire will assume day to day project leadership in all aspects of the sourcing process. This entails category assessment, the pursuit of cost savings opportunities, vendor due diligence, RFP, contract negotiations, and vendor management. You will cover Corporate Services spend categories that you are assigned. These categories may include but are not limited to Consulting, Contingent/Temp Labor, Outsourcing, HR including Benefits & Payroll, Travel, Events, Marketing, Legal, and Facilities.
