The Director, Business Transformation Office, will work closely with senior leadership to plan and execute the strategic sales roadmap. This new role will stabilize, simplify and scale sales for global growth; linking strategic plans to operational execution! The ideal candidate will have the ability to gain a deep understanding of our go-to-market strategy, global sales processes and lead teams to execute strategic change from concept through implementation. What You will Do:

  • Build out the transformation office with a focus on program management, business process analysis, change management, and success metrics.
  • Lead, mentor and grow direct reports where the brand of the team is one of confident execution with measured results.
  • Develop, lead and communicate the global sales transformation roadmap (18 - 24 month horizon) for operational processes and systems that will result in an optimized for scale sales organization.
  • Create engagement models with cross-functional teams for Stakeholder support and resource allocation.
  • Design and implement governance models and execution practices that enable transparency to initiative progress, risk, and decisions.
  • Lead program definition activities that include program vision, mission, scope, objectives, change plans, enablement plans, success measures and timelines.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with accountability for achievement of desired transformation outcomes.

  • Progressive experience in leading and driving change in a high-tech sales environment.
  • You are a self-starter with a desire to consistently learn, grow and challenge the status quo.
  • You have a consistent track record of successfully formulating and delivering transformational change.

What you bring along:

  • MBA or demonstrated equivalent experience; undergraduate degree is required
  • 10+ years experience with growing levels of responsibility inclusive of people management
  • Ability to lead a large variety of projects that will drive strategic change for the business
  • Communicating status and outcomes to senior leadership
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, while staying passionate about the big picture
  • Strong executive presence
  • Strategic thinker, tactical executor with proven ability to achieve quantifiable business outcomes
  • Lean Six Sigma and/or other process improvement methodologies as well as Agile Development practices

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is between $149,300 and $205,300, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.

Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering.
