To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Revenue Growth Initiatives to help build our Revenue Growth Office that is focused on developing and implementing strategic go-to-market initiatives for Field Operations. The RGO operates like an internal consulting group, working only on go-to-market initiatives that are top priorities for leadership, requiring the ability to navigate extreme ambiguity, and managing stakeholders by influence. Typically, these initiatives are aimed at increasing revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and/or improving GTM effectiveness and efficiency.

As a Senior Manager, Revenue Growth Initiatives, you will report into the Senior Director of GTM Strategy and Planning, and fully immerse yourself in organizing and leading high-profile strategic initiatives. Key elements of this role include developing a business case and strategy to achieve an ambitious goal, collaborating with a large group of cross-functional stakeholders to develop an impactful solution, and orchestrating cross-functional teams to implement a coherent plan.

You will work both independently and with other members of the RGO team to drive the strategic initiatives, taking ownership of initiative outcomes and deliverables. You will also use storytelling skills and presentations to persuasively communicate your recommendations to leadership, and influence teams to make decisions and mobilize them toward executions. Over time you will build lasting relationships with colleagues across Elastic, enabling you to execute rapidly with cross-functional support.

This role is distributed/remote, open to all locations in the United States.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Drive highly visible go-to-market initiatives for Elastic that increases growth and/or improves GTM effectiveness and efficiency
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities, crafting business proposals with clear ROI and business outcomes, and presenting to leadership for prioritization and approval
  • Design impactful solutions and coherent execution plans through collaboration with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
  • Implement and operationalize the strategic initiatives to achieve desired outcomes and instill as standard operating procedure
  • Collaborate, partner, and orchestrate cross-functionally through all aspects of the initiative to ensure rigor, thoroughness, buy-in and adoption
  • Measure, monitor, and advise through the implementation to ensure success and achieve initiative goals

What You Bring Along:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in management consulting and/or internal consulting (e.g., business / GTM strategy, business operations or other equivalent functions), with a minimum of 2 years of experience in both management consulting and engagement management
  • MBA or other advanced degree, preferably in strategy, business, or marketing, from a top academic institution
  • Knowledge of go-to-market (e.g., sales, marketing, success) especially in a SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of structuring ambiguous problems, develop solutions, and craft recommendations and results into easily digestible messages, communications, and executive presentation
  • Very strong executive presence, and engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Highly collaborative style with strong influencing skills, able to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization to influence behavior and manage change
  • Proactive self starter, with a bias for action, taking the initiative to drive work independently and cross-functionally
  • Excellent engagement manager and change agent, able to apply project management toolkits as appropriate
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization, influence behavior, and manage change
  • A sense of humor and ability to roll with the punches definitely a plus
