As the Tech Recruiting Manager in AMER you will lead and grow a distributed team of Engineering recruiters. Our recruiters are strategic business partners to our Engineering and Product leaders within Elastic and have a direct impact in the continued growth and success of Elastic's global team.

This is a distributed role and can be based anywhere in the US. 

What you will be doing:

  • Hire, mentor, and professionally develop a team of Tech recruiters who are responsible for hiring goals
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and champion streamlined practices, workflows, and metrics to measure success
  • Evaluate recruiting efforts to continually improve the quality and quality of talent brought into the organisation
  • Ability to meet standard measurements of success including annual hiring plans, diversity goals and operational excellence
  • Be a strategic partner to each business unit, and the recruiting leadership team collaborating closely to deliver on our global workforce plan
  • Collaborate with peers and the extended team to contribute to the overall recruiting strategy
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure familiarity with the recruitment process; share data and progress through quarterly business reviews
  • Carry a requisition load to meet business needs
  • Capture and maintain accurate candidate information on our ATS and other systems so as to both facilitate the search process and our overarching market intelligence initiatives

What we will need: 

  • Recruiting leadership experience within a software industry managing tech recruiters and sourcers
  • Empathetic and humble leader 
  • Knowledge and success in executing a full-cycle, high quality tech recruiting process required
  • Knowledge of reporting, latest tech hiring trends and understanding of recruiting metrics.
  • Proven organisational skills with ability to prioritise and work well in an environment with challenging demands.
  • Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated track record of building working relationships with leaders and cross-functional partners

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is between $103,700 and $142,600, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.

Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering.
