As the Manager, Talent Acquisition in AMER, you will lead a geographically dispersed team of Engineering Recruiters and Sourcers. Provide strategic thought leadership, set clear goals and objectives, and leverage core data sets and metrics to analyze overall team progress and performance. You are highly collaborative and will work with the broader Technical Recruiting Leadership Team, Finance, and Business to develop short and long term scalable recruiting strategies to meet the hiring needs of the organization.

You are a consultative advisor partnering closely with TA Operations, HRBPs, and business leaders in developing innovative solutions that focus on improving experience (NPS) and increasing overall efficiency and effectiveness.

This is a distributed role and can be based anywhere in the US.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with key business leaders, hiring managers, HR Business Partners to establish timely and accurate headcount forecasting that will drive internal and external talent attraction strategies and allow for effective TA resource planning.
  • Collaborate with HR COEs, business and marketing thought partners to develop targeted branding and attraction campaigns crafted to build more inclusive talent pools.
  • Work with regional recruiting teams in EMEA, North America and India to evolve and deliver consistent Talent Acquisition strategies that can be adapted and localized.
  • Create and invest in a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Coach and develop a team of SMEs that are highly consultative and data driven. Build team capability to guide and educate hiring managers on recruiting practices, interviewing and assessment process.
  • Be a strategic advisor to leaders as you collectively devise and deploy diverse talent strategies. Champion an environment of shared ownership around talent outcomes.
  • Continue to set a high standard for talent through evolution of our interview process and consistent use of high-quality high-impact assessment tools.
  • Champion DEI focus throughout the end-to-end recruiting process (awareness/attraction/posting strategy, interview and selection and offer).

What we will need:

    • 15+ years of progressive experience within talent acquisition in a global hyper growth SaaS or other technology environment is strongly preferred
    • Demonstrable experience leading and developing a successful geographically dispersed technical talent acquisition team
    • 5+ years of experience directly working with and influencing C-Suite customers in a hyper growth company environment (3k+ employees)
    • Experience building and or leading sourcing teams and sourcing strategies.
    • Dedicated, strategic leader who has successfully influenced a cohesive and collaborative recruitment culture across an organization
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, influence and earn trust with peers, partners, and team.
    • Experience working with a variety of recruiting systems and tools (ATS, CRM, job boards, diversity partners, university recruiting, events, etc.)

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is between $106,800 and $146,900, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.

Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering.
