The Senior USPS Program Marketing Manager is responsible for driving strategy and execution for editorial projects supporting go-to-market efforts for the US public sector regional marketing and sales teams. As the primary manager for messaging, content, vertical use cases and editorial supporting the USPS regional marketing team, you will work cross functionally to create the templates, processes, and assets needed to take Elastic products to market in this specialized industry. You will work closely with product marketing, sales, and regional marketing teams to adapt messaging guidelines and create landing pages, email newsletters, event and thought leadership campaign content, and collateral needed to support sales growth in all phases of the funnel with content for vertical segments including executive persona/buyers through the customer journey.

What You Will Do: 

  • Work cross functionally with product marketing and the global integrated campaigns team to localize content for the U.S. public sector audience, delivering vertical thought leadership messaging and assets tailored to target executive personas in the federal, state and local, and higher education markets
  • Work with segment managers to deliver ElasticON public sector and regional event, regional third-party conference, partner, and specialized program content to drive lead generation and nurture 
  • Edit specialized content including RFPs, presentations, and collateral to ensure correctness, concision, and adherence to brand guidelines Build and maintain messaging guidelines, collateral and vertical content templates, as well as content libraries that can be adapted across global public sector marketing efforts
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of U.S. Public Sector Regional Marketing to define and execute on cloud marketing strategy and deliverables for U.S. public sector market
  • Support our new Operation:Giving Back veterans program with content that defines, promotes, and develops this vital program for veterans
  • Own vertical content for elastic.co/federal website parent and child pages; work across product marketing, design, and demand generation teams to deliver and optimize content that drives increased traffic and awareness via the Elastic website

What You Will Bring:

  • Sharp writing and editing skills tuned to creative writing and thinking 
  • Deep expertise in U.S. public sector marketing with several years of experience writing for federal agency and decision maker audiences including executives in agencies
  • A love for and working knowledge of marketing for open source technologies
  • The ability to think broadly about strategy while also addressing the details
  • Crackerjack organization skills and the ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively
  • A data-driven approach and desire to optimize content with performance analysis and insights
  • BA/ BS or equivalent degree and 6+ years of experience
