Analyst - Quote to Invoice, Policy, Process, Governance (R6748)

The Quote to Invoice team (Q2I) supports worldwide order and billing operations at Elastic. The Policy, Process, and Governance team within Q2I supports cross-functional and team-wide initiatives among Order Operations, AR Billing, and Cloud AR Operations.

We are seeking a Policy, Process, and Governance Analyst to support Q2I in the following job role activities:

Q2I Projects:

  • Key liaison between Q2I and IT
  • Build business requirements documentation for new projects in Q2I space
  • Define use cases for testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing

Q2I System Enhancements:

  • Key liaison between Q2I and IT
  • Prioritisation amongst cross functional enhancement requests within Q2I (Order Ops, AR Billing, and Cloud AR)
  • User acceptance testing, team enablement, etc.
  • Collaboration with sales enablement on communications of sales-impacting system changes
  • Backup for data quality review in Salesforce
  • Backup for processing approved post-booking data updates in Salesforce
  • Backup for analysis to ensure data integration completeness and accuracy between various systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, BigQuery)

Successful candidates will demonstrate high proficiency in the following areas:

  • Proven track record of running successful quote to invoice process design to implementation projects
  • Proven track record of remaining focused business outcome required, versus spinning on conflicting requirements coming from multiple functions
  • Ability to influence decision makers using a data driven approach
  • Reporting, dashboarding experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience of Salesforce / CPQ or similar CRM crucial
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple contending requests coming via email, slack, case queue etc.
  • Basic familiarity with AR/billing business processes
  • Understanding of subscription sales process for self-managed, cloud and Marketplace transactions
  • Experience with Jira & NetSuite a plus
  • Collaboration for overall success of team, versus individual achievement

Other factors to be considered:

  • Extended hours will be required to cover Month-end, Quarter-End volume
  • Flexibility in hours worked to facilitate overlap with colleagues in other timezones
