The Services Engagement Manager is a meaningful role in our Services Delivery Team at Elastic, working to support our Training and Consulting projects across all of APAC. You will work closely and cross-functionally with the Delivery Manager, Consultants, Customers Success, and Sales to ensure successful services engagements, while accelerating Elastic adoption and driving customer retention and growth across the region.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Responsible for project lifecycle, staffing and resource scheduling on a broad range of services engagements
  • Act as the primary Services contact, run project kickoffs while confidently articulating the value of Services and setting customer expectations to ensure high satisfaction and successful project delivery
  • Ensure projects are efficiently tracked in all internal systems and properly accounted for revenue and utilization purposes
  • Partner closely with our Customer Success Team to measure project risk and develop strategies and plans for the successful adoption, growth, and utilization of Elastic
  • Develop and implement best practices that can continually enhance Elastic Services
  • Support and mentor other team members and share best practices

What You Bring Along:

  • 5+ years of experience in software tech professional services and/or engagement management, preferably in Big Data, Cloud and/or Open Source space
  • Experience in enterprise level project management, professional services delivery and customers success
  • Adequate knowledge of project management systems and delivery methodologies
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills, experience in working in a client advisory role
  • Self-initiative with attention to detail and delivering high-quality results
  • Team player, ability to work in a fast paced environment with a positive approach and response time
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
  • Fluent Mandarin/ Cantonese preferred
