We are looking to hire a Sr Salesforce Admin to join our growing CRM IT team. As Elastic has grown, our CRM platform (Salesforce) has evolved and we need specialists in key areas of our tooling supporting specific areas of our business. This role will not only need to know Salesforce, but must have experience in working with marketing teams. You will be working with our team of SaaS (Salesforce, FinancialForce, CPQ) admins and developers to ensure the needs of our marketing (Lead to Opportunity focus area) are running smoothly and ensuring that as Elastic scales. You will also be the first line of defense for operational, technical and process questions for our marketing team and their stakeholders around the globe. The ideal candidate  is looking to 1) Make an impact on a growing team and company 2) Enable us to scale our operations to match our explosive growth 3) Show a fundamental understanding of how users interact with CRM tooling and the best ways to enable their success. 

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Manage Salesforce integration with Marketo, Chat tooling and other internal marketing systems
  • Know the entire lead flow process in place with the current install base and bring your expertise in offering improved ways to run this process as needed.
  • Experience in helping design, develop, and maintain innovative CRM and marketing solutions through innovative tools for leads, campaigns 
  • You must be able to understand how we do campaign and lead management and bring your experience to help us improve and enhance key areas when needed.
  • Support deployment and post-implementation testing/validation of configuration changes and releases for major CRM releases from time to time
  • Manage the chat application integration with Salesforce and ensure data is accurately passed back and forth per business needs
  • Experience partnering with and designing solutions for go-to-market and back office teams, ideally in an Agile environment.
  • Participating in our agile development process with our team of Salesforce developers to design, test, and implement new features on CPQ
  • You must be able to do some basic to advanced Salesforce configuration work
  • Tending to the requests and questions from Elasticians on CRM overall
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex system functionality for the business user.

What You Bring Along: 

  • Have a Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Advanced Admin Certifications (4+ years of hands-on experience) and motivation to achieve advanced admin certification within the first six months on the job.
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Automation systems such as Marketo or Pardot
  • Ability to work with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Have a knack for listening and interpreting user requirements and then turning them into action 
  • Knowledge of what Agile development practices and a sprint delivery model
  • The ability to access ways for the team to improve and streamline our support process  from a people and technology perspective 
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of CRM software deployment methodologies

Bonus Points: 

  • Other Salesforce certifications- Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant.  
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ
  • Experience with SOQL/SQL - familiarity and comfort with querying data 
  • Any developer experience on the Salesforce platform or other web application platforms
  • Being awesome
