Elastic is expanding its CRM Engineering team with a new graduate program we’ve titled “Elastigrad” to support the explosive adoption of our offerings! Companies like Netflix, Lyft, Facebook, The New York Times, and NASA are looking to Elastic to help solve their big data problems.

In your first few months in the role, Elastic will help ramp you up on Salesforce development and contribute to your Salesforce Developer 1 certification exam. The ideal candidate is looking to make an impact on a growing team and company and enable us to scale our Salesforce instance to match our explosive growth.

We are looking to hire a Jr. Salesforce Developer to join the team. As Elastic has grown, our Salesforce environment continues to scale with it. We'd like to hire a Jr. Salesforce Developer who has a passion for Salesforce development to help meet the needs of our users. You will be working with a world class team of Salesforce developers, admins, and business partners to keep our Salesforce products running smoothly as Elastic scales. You will be part of one of our scrum teams working on enhancements, defects and solutioning for our business stakeholders (Elastic employees) around the globe. 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Working with Senior Developers and administrators to review, design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Create and collaborate on solution and technical design artifacts, and participate in cross-functional review sessions
• Display understanding of Salesforce functionality and features, through all interactions on Business Applications projects
• Work with Business system analysts to design & implement CRM solutions
• Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics
• Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, API’s, CPQ and Force.com applications
• Participating in our agile development process with our team of Salesforce developers to design, test, and implement new features
• Reviewing and debugging existing source code and resolve support requests for existing environments
• Partnerwith and design solutions for go-to-market and back office teams, ideally, pre, and post-sales, finance and accounting.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize system functionality for the business user.

What You Bring Along:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field preferred
• Have a knack for listening and interpreting user requirements and then turning them into action
• A self starter mentality with a thirst for learning
• Interest in designing, configuring and developing on the Salesforce platform 
• Have a knack for listening and interpreting user requirements and then turning them into action
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and a sprint delivery model
• Ability to brainstorm ways to improve and streamline our support process from a people and technology perspective

Bonus Points:

• 1+ years of experience working with Salesforce.com as a developer with knowledge of Sales Cloud, Apex, VisualForce, LWC and Force.com tools and application
• An introductory understanding of Salesforce Architecture, Limits, Security and out of the box automation tools of the platform
• An understanding and working knowledge of version control systems (Git preferred)
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and a sprint delivery model
• Project management skills and knowledge of CRM software deployment methodologies
• Salesforce Admin or Developer Certification(s)
• Experience with working on Lightning Experience
• Experience with CICD tools ( Copado )
• Experience with CLM applications like Conga and Revenue Applications like ( Revpro )

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is between $78,700 and $108,200, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.

Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering.
