We are looking for an experienced Product Management leader to help define and drive our vision for data collection, enrichment, and indexing across our range of use-cases and solutions. This role will be responsible for product strategy for some of the most popular open source collection technologies, including Logstash, Beats, and Elastic Agent. This is a highly visible role, and will coordinate our ingestion strategy across our 3 solutions; Security, Observability, and Search applications.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and grow a team of top notch product managers.
  • Define the vision and roadmap for Logstash, Beats, and Elastic Agent, including data collection and enrichment.
  • Partner with the engineering and technical leads to prioritize the roadmap and estimate realistic delivery timelines.
  • Work with downstream solution teams at Elastic to discover, align and prioritize their needs: understanding their use cases, timing requirements and helping think through phased approaches.
  • Work with our Sales & Marketing teams on go-to-market, messaging, competitive analysis, and enablement.
  • Interface with customers and the community for feedback feedback and usage information to develop product insights.
  • Capture market competitive and trend data and inform product direction.

What you bring along:

  • History of leading product teams working on deeply technical products that have been through a comparable growth-stage.
  • Strong technical background, preferably in related domains such as edge data collection; ETL for observability or security data, and must have the ability to discuss technical concepts in detail.
  • Experience operating in a product leadership role in similar companies
  • A player-coach who can drive strategy and execute alongside their team to deliver the needs of the customer first.
  • High EQ: bring technical and business acumen, compassion to the team, and someone who can help scale Elastic to the next level.
  • A low-ego and open-minded driver of business who cares deeply about their people. A natural problem solver.
  • Experience leading product management for multiple product lines. Can point to clear articulation of ownership and decision making across the product team and broader organization to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and client/user base.
  • Cultural ambassador who has attracted, retained and developed diverse Product teams.
