What is The Role:

We are looking for an intuitive and creative leader, who is passionate about the power of data-driven insights and compelling data storytelling, to take our highly capable HR Insights and Analytics team to the next stage of our journey. This leader will drive the integration of our analytics into key business areas and champion data as a critical driver for success.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Advance and grow our HR Analytics strategy and capability, including management and delivery of data, data governance, and product ownership of analytics and survey platforms.
  • Grow and support our HR Analytics and Insights team through strong leadership and guidance.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand challenges and provide relevant insights, analytics, and solutions.
  • Build strong connections with senior leaders, ensuring the team are trusted advisors for the use of people data to influence strategic decisions.
  • Enable the delivery of advanced analyses supporting key corporate and business initiatives leading to data-driven insights.
  • Crafting narratives for the organization to better understand people opportunities and challenges through data.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years experience leading a HR Analytics function in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling analytic capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and equally strong people leadership skills with a love for team development.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, incorporating both employee survey and general HR data to provide an integrated picture of the employee experience.
  • Highly curious approach with strong problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Expertise in global industry standards as well as respect for strong data governance and knowledge of standard processes.
  • Deep understanding of data models and advanced analytics.
  • You have a comfortable working knowledge of Workday, OneModel or Visier or similar HR Analytics platforms, ServiceNow, and Glint or other employee survey vendor.
  • You're a go-to resource for building executive-level presentations.
  • Familiarity with SQL and R or Python is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s, or equivalent experience, in Data Science or related field required; Master’s degree in an applicable field strongly preferred.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being. The typical starting salary range for this role is: $169,700—$268,400 USD. The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is: $203,900—$322,600 USD.
