Our focus is on continuously elevating our capabilities in the areas of environment & sustainability and to further develop our corporate & event security and occupational health functions. To drive these improvements we are looking for an energetic global leader to join our team, reporting to the senior director of global workplaces.
What You Will Be Doing:
Building on the work done by our team to date, you will develop plans and set priorities within the functional areas of Corporate, Travel & Event Security, Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability and Occupational Health. These activities will involve engaging internally across a number of functions such as HR, IT, Finance and Events (Internal / Corporate, External Fields Ops / Marketing), Sourcing and of course the rest of the global workplace team and external partner / service provider teams. With a need to develop and write policies that will require endorsement from senior executives, you will manage upwards a lot and be sensitive to Elastic’s way with words.
This position is suited to an experienced people and process leader, with a strong background in and passion for workplace health, safety and security, preferably on the international stage with a working knowledge of occupational health. Your experience will allow you to quickly establish key needs for developing and setting up systems, processes and training that will need to be put in place to ensure Elastic, its own teams, customers and workplaces are kept safe and compliant. This will all require educating and informing internal stakeholders, bringing them along the journey, and for this you will be a strong communicator with a positive can-do attitude and able to demonstrate proactivity, taking initiative where needed.
