We are looking to hire an Employee Relations Partner, AMER. The role will work closely with the HR Business Partners (HRBP) and other key stakeholders, serve as a coach, and advocate to front-line managers and employees. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Strategic partnership with HR Partners and internal counsel as needed to drive consistent performance management and design initiatives geared toward enriching the employee experience
  • Identify broader employee relations areas of improvements that contribute to our employee experience through active engagement, coaching, training consistency and empathy.
  • Identify training opportunities and collaborate with internal L&OD team to create content to focused on development and initiatives to support a culture of feedback
  • Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders on recommended approach when managing complex performance management issues, including conflict management, terminations and performance plans.
  • Build collaborative, influential relationships with Operations, Legal and leaders as well as other critical stakeholders to gather information, feedback, support and necessary resources to develop and execute our employee strategies and programs.
  • Extensive experience conducting internal investigations which can include a variety of areas such as alleged policy violations, including claims of discrimination and harassment then recommend management action. 
  • Create resources, templates, and tools for leaders and managers to support the adoption of the Culture of Feedback that helps positively shape the employee experience
  • Ensure data integrity and analysis beyond the basics. You help tell a story through the data which allows the team to gain insight, identify root causes and trends to actively engage with our managers and teams for future

What You Bring Along:

  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, focused on coaching and developing managers and handling global employee-related issues
  • Capable of building strong relationships and rapport with leadership teams, global HR colleagues, employee representatives and external advisors 
  • Strong knowledge of applicable local, state and federal US laws, regulations, policies
  • Experience in conflict resolution, policy development, negotiation planning & implementation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and lead multiple activities, projects and priorities across time-zones and geographies.
  • Proven experience leading, decision making, documenting, and delivering solid, defensible ER investigation reports 
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines
