We are looking for an expert HR Program Manager (also referred to as a “Chief of Staff) to work closely with our VP of Global Rewards, HR Operations, Systems & Analytics. This is a unique, hybrid role and will own two facets of the business:

  1. Program management of enterprise-wide projects including our ServiceNow implementation
  2. Closely partner with the VP to ensure a consistent business operating rhythm, define fiscal year strategy, drive annual planning and budgeting, as well as own special projects

You bring a combination of strategic systems thinking, strong leadership and relationship building, autonomous execution, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. You will play a pivotal role in the team’s journey to continuously improve and scale programs and offerings for all of Elastic’s diverse, global population.

This role is full time and will work with team members across all time zones. As this role will report into our U.S. based VP, we would love to hear from candidates who are based in the same region.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the enterprise implementation of ServiceNow: project and change management; drive decision-making, coordination, and alignment among teams; Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement; build out a roadmap for future scope
  • Drive the fiscal year strategy for annual planning, budget alignment, and prioritization in an ongoing and ad hoc basis
  • Create and lead initiatives to support a consistent business rhythm and cadence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on special projects
  • Proactively seek out ways to simplify processes and build efficiencies as well as identifying and resolving issues
  • Lead reviews, feedback, and decision making on behalf of the VP
  • Scope and create structure out of undefined ideas

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field or have demonstrable experience, education, and training
  • Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience leading projects at all stages of the project lifecycle, including change management strategy (from initial prioritization through delivery) required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience with program delivery capacity planning and change management required
  • Demonstrable knowledge of project management principles; validated experience developing and running project schedules, scope, budgets, resource plans, issues, risks, and change requests required.
  • Enjoy presenting - strong verbal communication skills a must!
  • Comfortable interacting, partnering, and influencing leaders
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable in a multifaceted and frequently ambiguous environment
  • Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization, influence behavior, lead change, and effectively delegate
  • A sense of humor and willingness to roll with the punches definitely a plus

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is between $128,100 and $176,200, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.

Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering.
