You will partner closely with the Global HR Operations team, regional and functional HRBPs, under the leadership of the Director of HR Systems and Analytics, to drive all aspects of HR in the South EMEA SEMEA region.

  • Take ownership for all of Elastic's HR activities and programs, aligned with our overall goals and in sync with legal requirements in France. Including but not limited to:
  • Working with our external partner to ensure Occupational Health compliance is maintained - new starters & existing employee OH review as required.
  • Maintaining the regular professional interview, bi-annual meeting & time tracking system.
  • Professional Training audit process
  • Partner with internal team on applicable gender pay gap reporting as needed
  • Lead the employee representative processes and content for France: chairing the CSE, handling the monthly agenda items,notes and legal requirements (consultations, agreements, health & safety etc) from the "Comite Social et Economique" in France, and others as the region grows.
  • Scan the compliance and legal landscape, to flag the important HRIS and HR Operations projects in the region.
  • Be an active team member in the HR Organisation and understand what matters to our people,within the organisation.
  • Help us use the feedback captured to ensure our operations function is impactful across the region.
  • Partner effectively with the ER and Legal teams to ensure that employees activities run efficiently
  • Building your presence and connections regionally making sure the HR team remains aware of the most meaningful people topics amongst our various teams
  • Participate in process improvement projects for the region

Required Skills and Experience:

  • The role is Paris-based and must have experience in an HR role within SEMEA (experience in France is essential, experience in other countries is highly desired)
  • Experience handling statutory legal HR documentation in France
  • Experience handling CSE and employment related compliance/reporting obligations in France
  • Ability to partner effectively with HR Operations and other teams such as regional HRBPs (i.e., you can work in a matrix reporting environment)
  • Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organisation, and with employee representatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills English & French language essential)
  • High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality
  • A sense of humour and ability to roll with the punches definitely a plus
