Reporting to Elastic’s Global Sales Operations Organization, you will focus on the end-to-end strategy and operations for Elastic's Solutions Architect (SA) organization.

In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Leaders, Strategy & Operations, Finance, IT, and more organizations focusing on the upkeep and development of all Solutions Architect programs including; performance metrics, fiscal year planning, territory carve, quota allocation, compensation design, organizational policy, continuous process improvement, and special projects. You will serve as the strategic partner to the SA Operations Sr. Manager, aligning with and meeting the needs of an integral pre-sales organization. As Elastic continues to grow, so does the need for new and innovative ways to develop, and improve our programs & critical initiatives. You will work as a key collaborator in the design and implementation of priority growth areas.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Be the dedicated operations support globally for the Solutions Architect Sales Organization responsible for:
  • Maintain global organizational territory alignment conducting monthly audits of field changes, new hires, internal transfers, etc.
  • Responsible for Fiscal Year Planning activities including headcount & allocation, territory carve, compensation design, quota setting, & roll-out
  • Perform in-depth analyses identifying root causes & impact to support central initiatives and drive growth
  • Maintenance of quotas for the global organization
  • Supporting leadership through crafting dashboards, tools to improve efficiency, and exposing focus areas in order to meet (and beat) our goals
  • Use data to build narrative content for QBRs and Board reviews that not only tell the story but identify the root cause and drive action
  • Prioritizing and completing high-impact projects
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities for process improvement
  • Provide analytical insights into aspects of key business decisions, including go-to-market strategies, prioritization, process improvement, metrics, and dashboards
  • Identify levers for driving revenue growth and sales efficiency

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of Sales Operations, Strategy, FP&A, Management Consulting, or similar fields in SaaS Organizations
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or equivalent experience required. A Master's Degree in Business or Marketing is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Solution Architecture Strategy and Operations
  • Comfortable working independently on tasks, utilizing problem solving skills to propose solutions, and make suggestions for improvements and clarity
  • A data-minded individual and power user of g-sheets and MS Excel
  • High level of proficiency with G-Slides to build C-Suite level presentations
  • Solutions-focused style possessing the ability to quickly change directions given new information or shifting priorities
  • Highly organized, analytical, data-driven, and experienced at crafting business plans and policies to support program decisions
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and cross-functional partnership skills. Must be comfortable communicating with all levels of leadership in both written and verbal situations.
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce.com
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. $89,100—$140,900 USD
