What is The Role:

As a Business Transformation Associate supporting the Field organization, this role focuses on the end-to-end processes of project intake, discovery, and prioritization, through to project completion. Using knowledge of Salesforce and its boundary systems, the Associate will work with business partners, end-users, and their management teams to change and improve processes, document/write business requirements, and guide features that deliver simplicity and scale to the business. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Bring a design-centered approach to your partnerships with our sales teams, particularly account executives, renewal managers, solutions architects, and the strategy, operations, and enablement teams that serve them, along with adjacent teams in marketing, product marketing, and sales development. Optimizing our customers' requested changes through the prioritization of new enhancements.
  • Lead team members to clarity on business requirements, and sequence enhancements based on the needs of the business as a whole. Evaluation of technical solutions against current tech stack capabilities. Document processes and procedures as they relate to customer use cases.
  • Proactively identify where business processes prohibit the company from scaling at pace and suggest enhancements.
  • Create enablement plans, End-user acceptance testing, and assist in end-user troubleshooting to identify possible solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with IT resources to define and implement effective and efficient solutions to business challenges and opportunities.
  • Lead change and can adapt to the changing priorities of the business.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce, particularly in the Sales Cloud environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in two or more of the following areas (in regards to integrations with Salesforce): sales forecasting applications, sales productivity tools, sales activity tools, territory management, data quality, third-party research tools, compensation management, lead process management, campaign management, marketing automation.
  • Bonus: Experience in developing business processes and requirements for integrating Sales Cloud with boundary systems: Clari (Sales forecasting), Marketo (email automation / marketing automation), Xactly (compensation), and others.

Functional Skills:

  • Strong social skills
  • Understanding of Territory Management, Data Enrichment, Lead Process, Opportunity Management, Sales Productivity, Forecasting, and Sales Compensation.
  • Experience in translating business requirements and processes into low-friction automation and high-impact systems.
  • Passion for exceptional documentation including diagrams, standards, and project plans.
  • Ability to explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner to others who may have minimal technical knowledge using oral, written and visual presentations
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Desire to learn and apply new technologies.
  • Comfortable in a distributed, diverse environment, and can work remotely and independently.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$89,100—$140,900 USD

$106,800—$168,900 USD
