As the Elastic events team continues to grow we are looking for a self-starting events professional who will support our Elastic{ON} tour events across EMEA. The Elastic{ON} tour program provides a one-stop shop for our users and customers to come learn about the Elastic Stack. They get a chance to ask their hardest questions at the Ask Me Anything booth, listen to product deep dives, meet our technical experts onsite, and network with members of the Elasticsearch community and our customers.

In this role, you will wake up each morning eager to build, drive, plan, and implement extraordinary programs, targeting prospective customers and existing customers, as well as contribute to the success of the worldwide pipeline goals. You'll be collaborating with teams across the company and globe and do all of this while traveling to events and running your programs to precision (up to 50%).

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Plan and manage entire programs from end-to-end including: sponsorships, vendor and venue coordination, program logistics, budget, program timelines and program analysis measurement.
  • Set timelines and communicate with all stakeholders to drive event deadline deliverables while supporting event team’s goals and objectives.
  • Creation of pre-event briefings decks & post event summaries including reporting and analytics.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on overall event strategy and long-term planning, project management experience a plus
  • Recommend campaign improvements and/or adjustments to drive higher performance and more efficient resource allocation along with best practices.
  • Position requires individual to work cross functionally with internal teams: Creative Services, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, DevRel, Sales, Training and Customer Success and Executive Leadership.

What You Bring Along: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of hands on event production and management experience 
  • Experience working on international events, preferably within a multinational company
  • Strong organizational, time management skills, and highly effective communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams to work together and deliver a successful event.
  • Lots of energy. You have a ‘let's-do-this’ attitude and the ability to drive projects to completion
  • Attention to the infinite details leading up to an event and on-site
  • Ability to handle multiple programs and priorities, especially the unexpected challenges that (always) happen prior to and during an event
  • A drive to constantly improve

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working with (regional) Sales team on event planning, lead follow up, and ROI analysis preferred
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Bizzabo, and/or Google analytics
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing events leading to new lead generation
  • Multi-lingual
  • experience with the creation of virtual event programs from the ground up
