The GCI/Kyndryl Strategic Alliance Manager is a newly created position. The role will focus on building a trusted relationship with CGI and Kyndryl, and managing our global partnership, building joint offerings, driving sales enablement and field interaction, and leading business development.

As Elastic continues its growth, the role will serve as a catalyst to accelerate our solutions expansion via global system integrators and drive cross-company alignment, from Products to Sales functions. 

What you will be doing: 

  • In this role with Elastic’s Strategic Alliances team, you will help Elastic build a growth engine with global system integrators.
  • Responsible for establishing and growing relationships with CGI and Kyndryl with services offerings  that integrate with Elastic products
  • Drive cross-functional activities with partners and stakeholders to integrate, market and sell these differentiated offerings
  • Manage contract negotiations with partners around complex business and technology related issues
  • Ensure regional and global alignment across all points of relationship between Elastic and your partners including technical, executive, legal, and operational
  • Partner with Marketing to build sales enablement and marketing strategies, strategic growth initiatives and communication materials associated with launching and growing partnerships
  • Work with business partners (integrators) to streamline customer access to automation-based solutions that drive gains for customers, partners, and Elastic
  • Convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner, with comfort in both business and technical discussions
  • Serve as the focal point for escalation for overall partnership issue resolution

What You Bring Along:

  • 8-10 years in Alliance Management,  Business Development in a global system integrators  company
  • Demonstrable ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software and technologies.
  • A track record of success working with system integrators and technology partners to drive high value customer solutions
  • Experience establishing and driving partner initiatives and relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix organization; ideally you have experience driving successful cross-functional programs or processes
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English – both verbal and written
  • Strong organization skills
  • Self-starter, kindness and a positive attitude, with a learner and curious mindset
