After unprecedented growth within our client base we are now  looking to establish a renewals function. Our Renewal Programs Manager will work cross functionally across the business to develop and implement a renewals practice.  In this “player coach” role you will assume both strategic and tactical responsibilities implementing renewals best practices on a global scale, working on operational aspects, thinking about how we retain clients,  and how we action the responsibilities of renewals across the organisation in regards to agreeing terms, negotiating contracts, and look to identify how Elastic can best serve the client, and provide best practices to establish and optimise this important function.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Instigate and implement Key renewals projects across the organisation
  • Develop key strategies for the renewal process, working cross functionally with multiple Departments such as Customer Success, Sales, Legal, Cloud teams
  • Work closely with Customer Success to develop and implement renewals best practices
  • Provide a seamless customer journey,  identifying opportunities for maximising customer experience whilst optimising contract renewals
  • Demonstrable Commercial acumen,  having the ability to implement a holistic approach, uncovering issues, removing roadblocks and adopting a general Account Management approach
  • Tactical awareness, providing operational capabilities around forecasting and reporting

What You Bring Along:

  • 10+ yrs experience within renewals, with demonstrable experience of scaling a renewals practice
  • Ability to design and implement processes and procedures around renewals
  • Experience working within a renewals team within a SaaS environment
  • Strong contract acumen and ability to negotiate on Licence and SaaS agreements (?)
  • Strong Account Management skills and ability to work within a matrix environment
  • Comfort  working in a fast paced, distributed environment with the ability to manage multiple work streams
  • Bachelors degree
