We are actively looking for experienced all-around marketing professional to assist field marketers in planning, execution, and roll-out of a high quantity (and quality) Elastic programs within regions and key accounts.

The marketing associate will work closely (but not exclusively) with the EMEA field marketing manager for EMEA North, covering the Benelux & Nordic region. However, this role involves close collaboration with many members of the marketing organization to deliver high quality campaigns with measurable metrics required to accelerate continued growth for Elastic. Programs include virtual and live campaigns, partner related activities, third party (regional) conferences, customer specific programs and much more.

This role requires a combination of strong planning, organizational, and execution skills to successfully plan, develop, execute and measure field marketing activities to deliver marketing contribution to the sales and partner pipeline

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Help drive demand creation and lead generation activity in developing qualified sales leads with the goal to help pipeline acceleration and brand awareness within the region or customer account.
  • Craft and execute targeted programs to meet marketing goals, including but not limited to field events, account-based marketing, executive programs, trade-shows, tour stops, etc.
  • Create landing pages, develop email nurture flows, plan follow up for the programs in close collaboration with the Sales & SDR teams.
  • Day to day will include the ability to partner and work closely with not only the marketing team, but also sales teams where they help support account-level marketing plans for top strategic accounts as well as local Government institutions
  • Maintain and manage the regional marketing calendar, program budget, internal wiki, monitor speaking opportunities, research/execute third-party conferences and collect information for relevant programs across the regions to determine adjustments and improvements.
  • Coordinate logistics, speakers, agendas, and staff for Elastic programs.
  • Support follow up activities in close collaboration with the broader Sales team and report on program feedback, ROI, attribution as well as iterations on future activities
  • Help monitor and promote our social selling index (SSI) on LinkedIn and post programs when required through our relevant social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin).
  • Support and partner with local partner initiatives such as smaller seminars, lunch & learns and webinars.

What You Bring Along:

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in native Dutch & fluent English (additional European languages an absolute bonus).
  • Minimum 3-6 years relevant work experience (preferably in the tech industry) in roles within field marketing, regional marketing, event management, agency account management, or any related marketing roles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and an eye for detail. Things move quickly here but there are always notes, spreadsheets, and lists needed to work with.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Splash (similar to EventBrite), Marketo, Eloqua and other similar programs.
  • Creativity, so an ability to think of new programs that can scale to many users.
  • Flexibility to adjust to a dynamic fast-growing environment and willingness to do more than expected.
  • Ability to be a true team-player, as well as be at ease to work independently and autonomously.
  • A ‘let's-do-this’ attitude and excitement to drive projects to completion.
  • Flexibility to travel at least 20% within the region (post Covid-19 restrictions)
