Our small team is growing, and we are looking for an EMEA based DEI Manager to help drive DEI outcomes for employees, customers, and society by building upon our foundation and implementing DEI priorities around the globe. Reporting to the Director of DEI, the DEI Manager will work closely with them and other internal partners to define and deliver on Elastic’s DEI vision, strategy, and goals and build a more mature culture of inclusion.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Help craft and deliver DEI programs and initiatives from end to end.
  • Collaborate with peers across the company to progress DEI maturity across all functions. Initial focus on partnerships with training and manager enablement on content, employer brand, and Elastic Cares [employee goodness & giving] on campaigns.
  • Own the employee resource group (ERGs) program and serve as the subject matter authority.
  • Help identify, define and establish metrics for measuring the efficiency and success of DEI efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal communication owners to ensure that DEI is considered in all internal and external communications while owning regular communication of diversity initiatives, events, and progress.
  • Maintain familiarity with DEI trends, successful strategies, and industry standards; benchmark external trends and transfer key insights to improve DEI maturity.

What You Bring Along:

  • Direct experience as a DEI practitioner developing and implementing programs and initiatives. Experience with DEI matters and understanding how to advocate for underrepresented or marginalized groups; experience reviewing DEI research and applying principles from relevant data points to advise and advance the work in a corporate setting.
  • 5+ years of proven experience managing concurrent projects and delivering results against established goals and metrics.  Experience using project/program management tools (MS Project, Monday, etc.) and/or PMP or equivalent certification is a plus!
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization across cultures; ability to promote ideas persuasively, to influence and shape opinions, win consensus for initiatives, and build followership with multiple cross-functional groups to ensure operational alignment and high-impact execution.
  • A global view of DEI - we operate in 40+ countries!
  • Detailed understanding of standard methodology DEI analytics and success metrics.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to empower, influence, and optimize leadership, partners, and peer groups without direct authority.
  • A sense of humor and the ability to adapt to obstacles (be flexible) is a plus!
