As Director of Optimization & Conversion, you will live and breathe Conversion Rate Optimization. You and your team will launch, implement and lead experimentation and personalization efforts across the company’s website, focused on improving site conversion and providing a better, more personalized user experience. As an optimization and analytics expert, the MOP’s focus is on Conversion Rate Optimization, but also on improved customer experience, journey mapping, web data analysis, multivariate testing, and personalization experiments.

Your responsibilities encompass

  • Develop, manage, and implement a website optimization and SEO road map, including idea management, testing, optimization, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Define and own the strategy for Optimization for our marketing web sites.
  • Audit and analyze funnel metrics to identify drop-off and address key areas for growth in conversion rates.
  • Partner with the Marketing Analytics team to drive reporting and performance analysis.
  • Represent the Website team during performance readouts.
  • Work with SEO and SEM subject matter experts to suggest changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Engage visitors as they progress through their discovery and learning process to encourages site exploration, interaction, and additional visits.
  • Manage the Web Optimization & SEO team.

Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience running web projects, with a demonstrated track record of leading teams that drive engagement and conversion rate optimization, in the B2B space.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the design of experiments including test structure, sequencing, the definition of primary and secondary success metrics, and experiment duration calculations.
  • Use a data-driven approach to identify areas of improvement based on current visitor behavior, performance metrics, and qualitative and quantitative customer data.
  • Launch, and optimize global A/B and multivariate tests on to drive increased user engagement and conversion rate.
  • Work with in-house analytics team to measure overall website performance KPIs, analyze key health metrics, communicate trends, share insights and make recommendations to the marketing team.
  • Experiencing partnering with Engineering, Design, and production teams to execute tests and enhancing optimization capabilities.
  • Fluent in A/B testing methodologies and have had success in driving significant growth through testing, behavioral analytics, and website targeting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency using Optimizely, Adobe Target or a similar testing/personalization platform.
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills.
