Elastic is growing quickly and the organization is evolving to support more complexity in offerings and go to market motions. To support this, the demand generation organization is looking for a group leader to manage a team that is focusing on various demand channels (paid media, web inbound, email and more). This leader will work to deliver on-demand goals and collaborate across the programs and product marketing teams to efficiently deliver on expectations while also be given the latitude to build new strategies and ideas.

Among the key requirements include;

  • Direct experience running and managing demand generation programs
  • Prior expertise in various demand channels including email, paid media, website optimization
  • Strong analytics capability - using tools like Google Analytics and SFDC
  • Experience in marketing and salesforce automation tools (Marketo/Eloqua) and SFDC are important
  • Enterprise Software SaaS experience is highly desirable
  • Experience running programs aimed at developers and tech managers through executives is desirable
  • Strong team orientation, humility, high EQ are critical.

Elastic, makers of the hugely popular open-source products Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Beats, is growing very fast and so is our marketing team. This key role will be significantly involved in global demand generation campaigns and build and accelerate revenue-driving activities. We’re looking for someone that’s technically curious, unafraid to challenge themselves, and has a keen interest in understanding our business and the customer’s journey.

What you'll be doing:

  • Opportunity to develop and build a team demand generation and digital marketing experts focused on various demand channels (email, web, paid media).
  • Define and own KPIs for targets and growth
  • Partner across functions with marketing, product management, business systems, marketing operations, and our web teams.
  • Identify critical areas of improvement across the funnel while developing plans to address challenges in a rapid and effective manner.
  • Oversee and optimize key demand generation budgets
  • And much more!

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, an ideal candidate will have enterprise demand generation experience with exposure to SaaS.
  • Experience with SMB, mid-market, to Enterprise SaaS, ideally mix of two with a variety of ACV / Lead Lifecycles.
  • Strong data analysis skills via various tools
  • 2+ years of experience with managing teams
  • Experience initiating and driving strategic, cross-functional programs to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrated experience collecting and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to uncover customer insights.
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, liberal arts, or related field.
