We are looking for a hard-working HR and Benefits professional with international benefits experience in the APJ region to join our Global Benefits & Well-being team as the Senior Benefits Analyst. Our ideal candidate has some experience with benefit plans design and administration, but more importantly, a growth mindset when it comes to delivering what organisations need to be successful from a benefits perspective. Reporting to the Director, Benefits & Well-being, you will have the support to develop your benefits plans expertise while enjoying taking on the delivery of some of our program elements as the owner. You’ll work closely with the members of the Benefits team and other HR partners to deliver an extraordinary benefits experience to Elasticians.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Partner with the Director, Global Benefits & Well-Being and Manager, Benefits & Well-being on key benefit program initiatives for the Elastic health & welfare, retirement, leaves of absence/accommodations, and global well-being plans. Focus initially will be on the India and APJ population, with expansion out to other countries as you grow in the role.
  • First point of contact for all benefits-related issues and requests for inputs from internal partners - employees, HR teammates, managers, finance, and payroll.
  • Execution of various recurring benefits business processes, surveys, audits, and testing, making recommendations for improvements and identifying inefficiencies.
  • Support benefit plan renewal activity with tasks and communications.
  • Maintain communications/marketing plan and toolkits and summaries for benefits and supporting local delivery of well-being program initiatives.
  • Contribute to the global vendor purchase order activity and compliance against set rates and budgets.
  • Continuous learning and application of new developments in the compliance and vendor space as they relate to the areas of benefits and well-being.


What You Bring Along

  • 3-5 years experience working in a human resources function, with some experience, exposure and orientation to benefits administration.
  • Experience leading small to mid-sized projects and processes from start to finish, with support from senior team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to translate benefits-speak so that it is understood by core audiences
  • Analytical problem solver who isn’t afraid to get into the weeds; a real passion for problem-solving and processes but with employee experience always at the core of intent
  • Commitment to employee confidence by keeping benefit information confidential
  • Ability to build effective work relationships with partners - employees and internal teammates alike
  • An interest to learning more about global companies and benefits practices
  • You know that sometimes laughter is indeed the best solution - a sense of humour, ability to roll with the punches and adapt quickly to a changing environment is a big plus!
