Are you a results-oriented communications pro who is exceptional at driving pan-regional public relations programs and a whizz at storytelling? We're seeking a PR & Communications Director to join our team and play a critical role in elevating Elastic’s brand awareness and affinity with media, customers, partners, and employees in APAC.

It’s a fast-paced and influential role in a high-energy team. This position sits in Global Communications within Corporate Marketing, reporting to the London-based Senior Director, Global Communications, APAC & EMEA.

What you’ll be doing:

As a director, you’ll partner closely with senior regional leadership to identify and prioritize communications needs across key markets.

Experienced in integrated communications, your regional programs that support local business priorities while laddering up to the global communications strategy. You'll work with subject matter experts and your PR agency teams to develop narratives, story angles, and communications assets to boost engagement with our audiences.

What you bring:

You are well-connected with tech and business journalists and can develop cut-through news stories to help frame conversations with relevant media resulting in meaningful coverage in business and industry publications.

With a solid grasp of narrative and awareness of audiences, outstanding attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills – particularly the ability to write clear and persuasive “human” content, devoid of jargon, that engages a variety of audiences.

  • A desire and ability to work in a complex and dynamic matrix environment.
  • A bias for action and results and a commitment to building a one-team spirit to ensure a unified approach to our corporate communications.
  • Critical thinking skills and a strategic and empathetic leadership style, while prepared to learn and grow in a team of communications professionals.
  • A strong executive presence and experience establishing positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in international communications leadership, preferably at a high-growth enterprise technology company and/or an agency (10+ years).
