Reporting to the Director of Legal Operations, the Legal Operations, Administrative Associate can be based anywhere in the continental United States.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Handle purchase orders, invoice submission, and associated processes for the Legal Team, including documentation of such.
  • Manage legal department vendor relationships (excluding law firms).
  • Partner with the Legal Team, Field and various operations teams to resolve systems-related issues.
  • Schedule team meetings, populate meeting agendas and take notes for the Legal Team.
  • Manage administrative maintenance aspects of Elastic’s intellectual property portfolios.
  • Run and maintain the legal department onboarding process, including onboarding for all new legal team hires.
  • Assist with filing and prioritizing centralized resources (including contracts) to ensure they are well maintained and accurate.
  • Support and handle various ad hoc administrative and operational tasks for the team as needed.

What You Bring Along:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing administrative office tasks.
  • Proficiency in the use of G-Suite tools (GMail, G-Drive, G-Sheets, G-Docs), Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Proven ability to identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and independently.
  • Strong work ethic, outstanding judgment and impeccable integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills but written and oral.
  • Interest in building strong cross-functional relationships.

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (preference for degrees and/or relevant coursework in business administration, finance and/or project management).
  • 1+ year of experience as a legal admin, paralegal or contract manager.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or CPQ or another CRM and/or quoting platform is a plus.

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is between $72,000 and $99,000, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.

Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering.
