Elastic is searching for a Senior Account Executive to join one of the best performing teams in one of the best performing regions.  You will be based in Melbourne and have a mix of existing annual subscription customers, Monthly SaaS customers and Digital Native accounts to work with.  You will have a strong track record of success, having worked for Tier 1 organisations, where your customers love what you do.  

Elastic IPO was in 2018 - today our revenue is in excess of $800m in our recent Q4 earnings release we shared guidance of our expectation to be at $2bn revenue by fiscal 2025.  If you are an IT sales professional, you want to make a meaningful multi-year impact on your customers and you want to contribute to this exciting journey - this is a once in a career opportunity for the right person - we’d love to speak with you.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Building awareness and driving demand for Elastic solutions by helping customers derive Value and Business Insights from their Data
  • Collaborating across Elastic business functions to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Working thoughtfully with customers to identify new business opportunities, managing through the sales cycle and closing complex transactions
  • Serving as an Evangelist for our unique approach with Free and Open offerings while communicating the Business Value of our Commercial Features
  • Building a robust business plan to achieve significant Elastic growth within your accounts

What You Bring With You:

  • Humble yet Ambitious you are Intellectually Curious, you love winning and don’t shy away from a challenge.  You are proud of your sales and business acumen and thrive leading a winning team.
  • A track-record of success in sales into net new and existing accounts demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer references
  • A good understanding of IT Infrastructure, the Data Centre, Network and Enterprise Software stack. 
  • The ability to build relationships and credibility with both Developers, IT Managers and Economic Buyers
  • Good sales methodology 'Hygiene' and Forecast Accuracy

Bonus point

  • Demonstrated use of MEDPICC, Challenger Sales or other sales approaches.
