Elastic is growing quickly and the organization is evolving to support more complexity in offerings and go to market motions. In order to achieve results, we use a wide variety of programs that impact different areas of the sales funnel (from branding to pipeline acceleration). A heavy emphasis will be placed on curating existing Elastic Stack users into an engagement for opportunities.

Elastic is looking for a Marketing Associate to support our ambitiously expanding Commercial segment in the Americas. This role will partner in the planning, building, and execution of a high quantity and quality of Elastic programs. Examples include virtual and live campaigns, partner-related activities, third-party conferences, and much more. You will interact daily with the field sales team and bring an understanding of the buying behavior and the Elastic go-to-market strategy. Through collaborating with teams across multiple departments you will accelerate growth and pipeline while hosting and running your programs with precision.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Administrative: maintain and manage marketing calendar, regional budget, wiki, monitor speaking opportunities, research/execute third-party conferences and collect information for relevant programs across the regions to determine adjustments and improvements. Offer overall support to the regional marketing team when needed with travel, planning, expense reporting, attending/presenting during sales weekly meetings, Zoom managing/hosting and more.
  • Programs: Help drive demand creation and lead generation activity in developing qualified sales leads and crafting brand awareness activities. Assist in sourcing suitable venues (when not virtual) for regional marketing initiatives and lead program coordination of campaigns within the region. Craft and execute targeted regional marketing programs to meet marketing goals, including but not limited to field events, account-based marketing, executive programs, trade-shows, ElasticOn events, etc. Partner and work closely with sales teams to craft account-level marketing plans for their top strategic accounts.
  • Collateral & Promotional materials: Work with Product Marketing to ensure distribution of (sometimes printed) materials such as case studies, datasheets, or give-aways to our local sales teams or whenever needed for campaigns,
  • Logistics: Place and manage shipments via our warehouse prior to execution of regional programs. Coordinate logistics, speakers, agendas, and staff for Elastic programs.
  • Customer/User Relation: Assist and contribute to building strong user/customer relationships to help create reference stories for the Customer Experience team that will be shared within the wider community.
  • Partners: Support and partner with local partner initiatives such as smaller seminars, lunch & learns, or programs.
  • Analyze: Regional reporting on program feedback, return on investment, attribution as well as iterations on future activities

What You Bring Along:

  • Demonstrated ability in B2B tech marketing from a regional or field perspective
  • Strategic problem solving influenced by the story data tells - the ability to exercise judgment when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluating criteria to meet goals and over-deliver
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Splash, Marketo, Monday.com and other similar programs
  • Supreme organizational skills with an eye for detail - Elastic moves quickly and there are always notes, spreadsheets, and lists that are critical to keep track of
  • Proactively processes insights and recommendations, based on (past) personal and professional experiences and/or relationships
  • Creative - ability to think of new programs that can scale to many users
  • Ability to be a phenomenal teammate, as well a be at ease to work independently and autonomously
  • Collaborate, network, and support team members outside of their own area of expertise
  • A ‘let's-do-this’ demeanor and the enthusiasm to drive projects to completion
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 25% across US
