We’re looking for an experienced, results-oriented, and collaborative Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury team of two and focus on a variety of Treasury functions, covering management of the daily cash process including fundings, payment initiation, reporting, and compliance. You will be part of a multi-functional global Finance team, ensuring we operate most efficiently and effectively as Elastic continues to scale.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Monitor global cash activities and position appropriate working capital levels
  • Manage and ensure accurate global cash reporting
  • Manage cash forecast to actual variance for payroll, A/P, and taxes which includes payment to forecast comparison and alerting stakeholders of variances.
  • Reconcile A/P disbursement forecast against Citibank batch settlements
  • Initiate electronic payments
  • Initiate intercompany funding / positioning transfers
  • Prepare monthly FX rate summary
  • Prepare FX Exposure Calculations
  • Reconcile bank fees to underlying support
  • Respond to / investigate / resolve issues on payment failures or delays
  • Assist in maintaining treasury related records and documentation necessary for audit and compliance
  • Participate in SOX compliance and audit testing requests
  • Ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and projects.

What You Bring Along:

  • A proficiency in optimizing processes and programs

And some of the basics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field required
  • CTP credential is highly desirable
  • 3-5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably for a multinational public corporation
  • Treasury management systems and web-based banking systems experience
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, manage time and work independently with little direction and oversight to meet deadlines
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and systems
  • Detail oriented and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excel / Google Sheet proficiency
  • A sense of humor and ability to roll with the punches is a definite plus.
