Senior Analyst - Accounts Receivable

The responsibilities of the Senior Collections Analyst will be to manage and resolve Unapplied Cash payments, prepare weekly/monthly reports and handle collections on a portfolio of business-to-business accounts. This individual should possess strong time-management and communication skills and be able to prioritize key tasks.

What you will be doing:

  • Review Unapplied Cash Report to resolve and provide posting directions to the Cash Applications Team. Process refunds, as needed
  • Perform weekly and monthly data analytics for the A/R Collections Department
  • Contact customers, via email or phone, to secure payment on an assigned portfolio of accounts
  • Negotiate payment plans, when required, on delinquent accounts
  • Confer with the sales team to resolve customer disputes delaying payment
  • Perform account reconciliations, as needed, to resolve any account discrepancies
  • Process customer credit card payments. Address any credit card declines with the customer
  • Respond to customer inquiries within a 24 - 48 hour time period
  • Prepare and review weekly collection reports to determine collection strategies to assist management with cash forecasting goals
  • Review progress of Key Performance Indicators with management, with a focus on continued improvement

What you bring along:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • 3-5 years of experience in business-to-business Accounts Receivable Collections
  • Demonstrated Excel skills with knowledge of pivot tables and V-lookups
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and customers
  • Good organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with high level of accuracy, both independently and in a team environment.
  • Preferred: Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, and G Suite #
