We are looking for a Revenue Manager to be the newest member of our Revenue, Business enablement team in this fast growing, truly globally distributed company.

You will join a team in transition and growth. Elastic is growing like a rocket ship and our team is challenged to scale while providing accurate, timely, and optimal close of deals. In this role, you will be assisting the Director of Revenue Business Enablement with ensuring the efficient flow of deals upstream through the Elastic deal structure and related business and accounting systems.

You will have a significant impact with training and developing new teammates as the Revenue team continues to grow. Furthermore, you will collaborate with many groups including: Order Operations, Legal, Deal Desk, and those outside of Elastic being external auditors and consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain working relationships with Deal Desk, Order Operations and Legal to support Sales teams to optimize revenue, resolve revenue challenges in deal structure, and support the company’s business initiatives.
  • Assist the Director of Revenue Business Enablement with being a daily point of escalation for all supported teams.
  • Assisting with SSP Analysis, material rights analysis, contract reviews, special terms review, and interaction with PwC on complex revenue issues to support the month and quarter end close.
  • Reviewing customer order forms for compliance with company policies and signing customer order forms ready for deal execution.
  • Support ad hoc projects, including systems implementation, upstream data improvements, and process improvements related to revenue processes,
  • Support our external auditors during their quarterly reviews and year end audit
  • Collaborate with various teams across the Company to resolve issues.
  • Participate in month-end Revenue close cycle
  • Demonstrate versatility and flexibility to work with team members on the Revenue team to produce deliverables reviewed by others team members and review work produced by other team members.
  • Work with SOX and Audit teams in testing key controls around the revenue close process and other revenue estimates

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Proficient with finance practices & requirements for SaaS software companies
  • Experience in end-to-end business scenarios including Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition under ASC 606/IFRS 15
  • Strong experience with MS excel
  • 7+ years of prior revenue experience
  • Ability to work from 1.p.m. to 10p.m. local India time
  • Ability to adapt fast-paced work environment and show the willingness to go the extra mile

Preferred Qualifications

  • Zuora RevPro experience a plus
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Knowledge of SQL, BigQuery, or Alteryx is highly coveted
  • Excellent teammate who is able to collaborate with global cross functional teams
  • Ability to multi task and scale quickly in a fast paced environment
  • Creative problem solver
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Knowledge of software and SaaS revenue under ASC 606
