What is The Role:

Process Optimization and Engineering is a pivotal division within Marketing Operations, consisting of dedicated individuals who excel in their roles. We prioritize implementing intelligent, strategic, and scalable methods to drive continuous advancement. In this role, you will lead Elastic's initiatives in lead management, campaign management processes, and marketing automation solutions, focusing on strategy, design, execution, and operations. We seek a candidate who is technically curious, eager to take on challenges, and committed to enhancing their understanding of our business and the customer journey.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and IT partners to turn business needs into clear, actionable user stories for system improvements.
  • Analyze crucial metrics across lead and campaign management, collaborating with IT and Marketing Operations to identify optimization opportunities, streamline processes, and ensure system reliability.
  • Help identify gaps in our current processes and recommend practical solutions to enhance how we manage leads and campaigns.
  • Prepare visual diagrams of system architecture, functionality, and process flows.
  • Maintain detailed documentation throughout the process to ensure clarity and traceability of requirements, analyses, recommendations, and system diagrams.
  • Support the Conversica application, including ongoing configuration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with vendor and internal teams to ensure alignment with marketing goals.
  • Keep internal resources up to date, including project tools, FAQs, and documentation, so the entire team remains aligned.

What You Bring:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Marketing, Sales Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools—Marketo is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce; admin experience is a bonus.
  • Experience or interest in AI-powered tools like Conversica is a plus.
  • Dedication to thoroughness and effective execution, with a strong ability to take accountability for outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adjust the level of detail depending on the audience.
  • Data-driven decision-making, including using available data or establishing new processes to capture vital information for informed decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, technology, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working on a fully distributed team

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

The typical starting salary range for this role is:

$81,900—$129,500 CAD
